TASS, October 8. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) is carrying out a retaliatory shelling attack on the territory of Lebanon, the IDF press service said on Sunday.
"At present, the IDF is shelling a Lebanese district after fire was opened from it on the territory of Israel," IDF said in a statement, posted on the X social network (previously known as Twitter).
The IDF said it was prepared for "all scenarios" and vowed to continue "defending citizens of the State of Israel."
