MOSCOW, December 24th. /TASS/. Russia's political parties New People and Party of Growth signed a unification agreement. According to a TASS correspondent, the document was signed by the leaders of political associations Alexey Nechayev and Boris Titov.
“All healthy forces of our time must unite,” said Nechayev. Boris Titov, in turn, remarked: “This is a significant step forward.” We really appreciate this and hope for continued success. He compared party representatives to entrepreneurs who are constantly looking for the best answer. “Today we need an optimal economy that promotes business growth. Only a strong professional state can steer them in the right direction,” Titov added.
Titov noted that the issue of the name of the club would be decided later.
The New People's Congress also unanimously decided to elect State Duma Deputy Chairman Vladislav Davankov as the party's candidate for the next presidential elections in March 2024. Davankov's nomination was supported by all 69 delegates.
The party candidate will submit the necessary registration documents to the Central Election Commission of Russia on December 25.
