Russian Kinzhal reaches Anchorage in 3 minutes

Corax Consultants LLC

The Kh-47M2 Kinzhal missile has a speed of up to Mach 10 (3,400 m/s; 11,200 ft/s) ¹. The distance between Bering Strait and Anchorage is approximately 669.38 miles (1,077.26 km) ². Therefore, it would take approximately 3 minutes for the missile to fly from the closest point in Russia to Anchorage if it were launched from the closest point in Russia ¹. However, it is important to note that this is just an estimate and there are many factors that could affect the actual flight time of the missile.
